Setting Up Windows ME to connect to the Internet with MoonStar

Step 1:

Click on the Start button and select Settings and then Control Panel - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 2:

Click on Internet Options - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 3:

Click on the tab marked Connections and then click on the button marked Setup - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 4:

Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN). then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 5:

Select I connect through a phone line and a modem then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 6:

In the Area code field enter 434, in the Telephone number field enter 392 7670, in the Country/region name and code make sure United States of America is selected, and make sure Dial using the area code and country code is checked then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 7:

In the User name field enter your MoonStar username and in the Password field enter your MoonStar password then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 8:

In the Connection name field enter MoonStar then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 9:

You will now be asked Do you want to set up an Internet mail account now?. Select Yes then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 10:

In the Display Name enter you real name as you would like it displayed on email messages that you send then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 11:

In the E-mail address field enter you MoonStar email address - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 12:

The next screen will say My incoming mail server is a POP3 server. In the field below marked Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server enter luna.moonstar.com and in the field marked Outgoing mail (SMTP) server enter mx.moonstar.com then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 13:

In the field marked Account name enter your MoonStar username (it may already be there), in the Password field enter your MoonStar password, and make sure that Remember Password is checked then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 14:

You have now completed the Internet Connection Wizard. If you wish to go ahead and connect check To connect to the Internet immediately, select this box and then click Finish then click Finish - Select this link to see a screen shot
