Setting Up Netscape 4 For Your MoonStar Email Account on Windows 95/98/ME

Step 1:

Click on the Start button and select Programs, Netscape ?, Utilities, and then User Profile Manager - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 2:

Click on the button marked New... - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 3:

Read the information in this window and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 4:

In the Full Name field enter you real name as you would like it displayed on emails that you send, in the Email Address field enter your MoonStar email address, and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 5:

In the Profile Name field enter your MoonStar username or your real name or anything else that will help you identify this as your profile, leave the other field, Your user settings, preferences, bookmarks, and stored messages will be kept in the directory given below..., as the default directory already listed, and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 6:

In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field enter mx.moonstar.com and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 7:

In the Mail server user name field enter your MoonStar username, in the Incoming Mail Server field enter luna.moonstar.com, for Mail Server type select POP3 and then click Finish (note: you will be asked for you password the first time you try to check for mail with your Netscape profile so make sure you have the information handy) - Select this link to see a screen shot
