Setting Up Eudora Light For Your MoonStar Email Account

Step 1:

Double Click on the "Eudora" Icon (If you do not see one click on the Start button, select Programs and then select Eudora Light - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 2:

If this is the first time running this installation of Eudora the New Account wizard will start automatically (If this does not happen skip to step 9). Select Create a brand new email account then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 3:

In the Your Name field enter your real name as you would like it displayed on email messages that you send then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 4:

In the Email address field enter you MoonStar email address - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 5:

In the Login name field enter your MoonStar username then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 6:

In the Incoming Server field enter luna.moonstar.com, under Please choose the type of server you are using select POP, and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 7:

In the Outgoing Server field enter mx.moonstar.com, uncheck Allow authentication, and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 8:

You have now completed the Set Up Wizard. Click Finish (Skip steps 9 and 10) - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 9:

If you do not get the New Account Wizard you can enter the preferences manually. Click on the Tools menu and select Options - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 10:

In the Real name field enter you real name as you would like it displayed on email messages that you send, in the Return address field enter you MoonStar email address, in the Mail Server (Incoming) field enter luna.moonstar.com, in the Login name field enter your MoonStar username, in the SMTP Server (Outgoing) field enter mx.moonstar.com, and uncheck Allow authentication.
