Setting Up a Windows 95 to connect to the Internet with MoonStar using the Internet Connection Wizard when Internet Explorer v4 is installed

Step 1:

Click on the Start button and select Settings and then Control Panel, double click on Internet, click on the tab marked Connection and then click on the button marked Connect - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 2:

Read the information on the screen and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 3:

Select I want to set up a new connection on this computer to my existing Internet account using my phone line or local area network (LAN) then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 4:

Select Connect using my phone line then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 5:

If you now see a screen which asks Create a new dial-up connection, select this option and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 6:

In the Area code field enter 434, in the Telephone number field enter 392 7670, in the Country/region name and code make sure United States of America is selected, and make sure Dial using the area code and country code is checked then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 7:

In the User name field enter your MoonStar username and in the Password field enter your MoonStar password then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 8:

It will now ask Do you want to change the advanced settings for this connection?, select No then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 9:

In the Connection name field enter MoonStar then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 10:

You will now be asked Do you want to set up an Internet mail account now?. Select Yes then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 11:

If you now see a screen which asks Create a new Internet mail account, select this option and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 12:

In the Display Name enter you real name as you would like it displayed on email messages that you send then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 13:

In the E-mail address field enter you MoonStar email address - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 14:

The next screen will say My incoming mail server is a POP3 server. In the field below marked Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server enter luna.moonstar.com and in the field marked Outgoing mail (SMTP) server enter mx.moonstar.com then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 15:

In the field marked POP account name enter your MoonStar username (it may already be there), in the Password field enter your MoonStar password then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 16:

In the Internet mail account name field enter your MoonStar username (account name) then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 17:

You will now be asked Do you want to set up an Internet news account now?. Select No then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 18:

You will now be asked Do you want to set up your Internet directory service account?. Select No then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 19:

You have now completed the Internet Connection Wizard. Click Finish - Select this link to see a screen shot
