Determining Your Operating System (OS)

Windows

• Windows 95/98/ME
  1. Click on "Start" "Settings" "Control Panel"
  2. Double-click on "System" (Note: In ME you may need to click on "View all Control Panels" before this is visible.)
  3. The version of your OS will be listed on the "General" tab under the heading "System"

Macintosh (All Systems)

1. Click on the "Apple Menu" in the upper right corner
2. Click on "About this Macintosh" or "About this Computer"
3. Your version of the OS will be listed on that page.

Macintosh:

• System 7 and below
• OS 8 and above
